Expression pedal globally controlling mix

What are the 2 grey buttons ? What is the slider ?

sorry bout that. I have an H9 Max. Referring to the 2 grey buttons and the slider on the app on every algo (under all the knobs).

I'm not the app expert – he may contact you.

But in the meantime – if you are trying to defeat expression pedal control of parameters, you should see pages 23/24 of the latest UM for details.

What may be confusing you is that Expression Pedal and Hotknob are essentially the same thing.

For every preset. Can someone tell me how to make it NOT do that? I double tap on mix, and there’s typically not option to unlink from expression pedal. Also, in assigning the pedal to other parameters, I need to have one of the 2 grey buttons depressed by the slider, correct?

The hotknob and expression sections are pretty clear. I read them and there is no explanation as to why my expression pedal is globally controlling the MIX of every preset. I’d just like that to stop happening. Can anyone help me? Either from the app or the pedal, I just want to turn this feature off.
