Factor pedals preset increment/decrement via midi

Hi,

I’m running into an issue with the factor pedals when attempting to increment/decrement presets via midi. I’ve assigned midi cc messages to the pedal functions for increment preset (cc0) and decrement preset (cc1). I’m sending each respective cc message with a value of 127 (see below example). I expect this will increment/decrement the presets by 1 at a time, but the presets are incrementing/decrementing by 2 at a time instead. I’m not sure why this is happening. Is the value I’m sending with the cc number incorrect? Is there another message I should send after sending the first message? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hello,

What MIDI controller are you using? It is possible that the CC message is being sent twice, and that is why the presets are incrementing/decrementing by 2.

Are you able to use a MIDI monitor app with your MIDI controller so confirm it is only sending 1 CC message per press? There may be an additional message sent when the footswitch is released.

Hi,

I figured it out. I was going from my midi controller through an external midi router that messing with the cc messages. Going from my midi controller directly to the pedal is working properly.
