Generate Level control and Studio One automation

First of all, Hi to everyone 

 

Second, while I love Generate, it is a rotten name to call a synth since it makes it almost impossible to search for articles about it on the internet 

 

Onwards…..

I have Generate and am running it on Studio One. When I setup automation to say fade out Generate, I can’t get it to respond. I tried Output Level, and I tried Level, but neither of these cause Generate level to decrease. Is there a problem with Generate in this regard – or, better still, how do I accomplish it?

I have to note that I can do this perfectly well on other VSTs such as Diva or Serum. I could also do it using track automation, but I’d prefer to control Generate directly
