Hi!
Given the recent H3000 mkII band delay plugin update, is there any possibility that SOME or all of this functionality could be added to the H90? Even if it was, say, 4 voices as opposed to 8 with less functionality than the plugin, it would still be such a big asset to have as a tool in the H90. I’d love to be able to recreate some of that plugin magic in a live scenario.
Please consider this, I think there’s a big community of H90 users that would love it.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the suggestion. There is certainly a possibility that we could add an upgraded Band Delays algorithms to the H90. Other users who would like this can comment on this thread to show their interest.

Thanks @tbskoglund!
I think a great addition would be adding Band Pass Filter functionality to the band delays voices.
There’s an H3000 preset called Liquid Reverb that creates these delicate musical repeats, it would be amazing to get this in the H90.

Sounds like it would have to be some hybrid of the H9/H90’s Band Delay & Resonator. Even reduced to 4 voices, I’m curious about how that might be implemented (level, panning, filter type, frequency, Q for each delay).
Now that function generator …

Band Delays is one of my top Eventide effects & I was a bit destroyed that it wasn’t included in the H90.
Because all thru the forums it says all of the algorithms were updated to the original state for H90 – I had to purchased a very expensive unit to find out this is not the case & It still uses the much less desirable H9 band delay effect.
tbh, eventide (at least at the time I purchased) do a very poor job actually telling buyers what algorithms are included.
If CPU is an issue 4 instead of 8 would be fine – it is one of the best eventide effects.

Or you could have just read the manual before dropping a grand on an unknown FX processor:

I read the manual but it wasn’t clear – I never heard of Band Delay; I only knew Band Delays & the sales stuff wasn’t clear that all the algos weren’t updated.
anyway are you plus one on this or not? or you just here to teach me something?

Respectfully, I agree with @moreigloos. From my perspective to the average H90 buyer, this might be their first intro to the eventide product suite, or maybe they were an H9 user and don’t know how great the band delays can really be. Hearing ‘band delays’ are on the H90 and ‘band delays were an amazing feature of the H9000’ you really need to know which questions to ask or where to look in both manuals to understand the differences, and where the H90 currently comes up short.
Its not obvious, and would be a massively welcomed update to see filter functionality or other features added to the H90.
