H8000A ver 5.2 update issue

I am using a flash card purchased directly from Eventide containing the latest ver 5.2 OS to update an H8000A. After pressing the "2" during startup the H8000A says, "release key now", then "thank you", and then gives me two choices on the OUPDATE screen below where it says "Awaiting Contact" : 1) Restart, and 2) Done. Pressing either option restarts the H8000A to ver 4.5. Am I doing something incorrectly or is this a possible faulty card? Thanks. -Steve

Hi Relayesr,

Another way to perform the update with the card is this by peforming the same steps to get to the Oupdate screen however do not insert the compact flash card and adapter until you get to this screen. Then fully insert the card and adapter. Immediately afterwards you should see a new page display that will read "Do you want to peform the udpate, yes or no". Select yes and the process will begin. It could take an upward of 10-15 minutes to complete. Once it has it will return to the main Oupdate screen and you will see "done" in the lower right hand corner. Select this and the unit will initialize to complete the task. While it is initializing you can eject the card and adapter from the slot.
