H9 5.8.5 software update problem

      When I select “Install software” in the H9 Control app, I get the message:

      “Downloading update failed.

      Could not reach Eventide server. Please check your network connection”

      This is strange becasue just 5 minutes ago I successfully updated to 5.8.2

      We have a power problem at Eventide (started a few hours ago), so many things are down.

      It may take a few days to fix (but hopefully not).

      The same problem just now. “Downloading update failed. Could not reach Eventide server. Please check your network connection”

      I successfully updated to 5.8.2

      PC windows 8

      I’ve discovered that if I use Mac OSX 10.10 the update works fine.

       

      Previously, I was using Mac OSX 10.8.5

      bonjour j’ai un gros probleme, j’ai le meme message d’erreure!  Could not reach Eventide server. Please check your network connection”

      je ne peut donc pas utilisé mes 3 pedales h9!

      c’est urgent …

      I was able to update one of my H9s, but when I went to do the other one I got the unable to reach server message. I’ve rebooted everything and the issue persists. My internet connection is fine.

      We are aware of this issue and it may be weather related. Please hang tight. Unfortunately, this may take until Monday to resolve.

      What device do you use for H9 Control? Could you try it again and take a screenshot? Can you try that on a different device, like a desktop via USB? I just tried updating my H9 to 5.8.5 and it worked fine.

      Sorry – it sounds as if you have a local network problem which is beyond our control. I would suggest that you try a different computer.

      Désolé – il semble que vous avez un problème de réseau local qui est hors de notre contrôle. Je vous suggère d’essayer un autre ordinateur.

      This should be fixed now.
