Hello,
I have two H9 max pedals that will be on my pedal board. I have downloaded the control program to my computer. But before I dive into this, I have some questions from folks here that is experienced with the pedal and using the program.
1. When I star saving the algorithms that I want to use to the control program, do I need to differentiate which pedal will be using what algorithm? Once it is on my board.
2. So, I have selected the algorithms and they are saved in the control program, how do I tell which pedal to be saved in which bank of my ES-5?
I have read parts of the H9 manual but, I’m more of a hands on/walk me though it person. Hopefully I have explained my questions correctly.
Thanks….Gary

when using H90 Control, it is possible to pair more than one H9 pedal to the app at the same time. On the left hand side, you choose what device you’ll be editing, whether it’s the computer/mobile device or one of the two H9’s.

When working with a preset you have a tab on the top labeled “Save” that will give you the option to store where you want to, whether it’s the device itself or one of the two pedals.

It is possible to connect a H9 to H90 Control? That would be great!

I believe that would just be a typo in Joe’s reply [“H9 Control”]. What you can do in H90 Control is import H9 Presets & Preset Lists for use in the H90.

yes I’m afraid it’s a typo – but it would make a lot of sense to manage both in one app.

Cool in concept, yes. I would personally take advantage of that. But two completely different builds & set of features (H9 Control & H90 Control).
As I understand it, H90 Control ‘reads’ what is actually the current state of the H90 pedal, so it would need to ‘read’ what was on the H9 pedal as well. I’m not saying that would be impossible, but it would appear to require a total rewrite from the ground up.
They still sell H9 Max, so take the following with a grain of salt: Not one to speak for Eventide, but I do not see a lot of ROI on backward compatibility vs. moving forward.
