Is it just me? The H9 control for android via BT keeps crashing during startup. I checked in Goople Play and I have the latest app version on my phone. Bummer!

Hello,
I have the same problem as raal71,
I can’t connect to the H9 max pedal using Bluetooth, the application crashes when I start it up, even though I have the latest version of the application.
With my Macbook, no Bluetooth connection problem.
With my Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (Android 12) I can’t connect via Bluetooth.
I should point out that with my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, which I lost, I had no problem, everything worked perfectly.
Can you please help me?-

Happy New Year!
After a while without using the Control App, I stumbled into this issue today: it crashed during startup. I’ve read another thread where someone has installed a new update from a different link than the Play Store but I’m very concerned about the presets that I had stored in-app and that I need access to.
If anyone has solved this matter please let me know

It is not resolved for me as I was instructed to delete the original app to be able to install the one that was sent but i haven’t done it as i did not want to lose all the patches stored in my phone.

Ok, here’s my update: I browsed the Android folders hoping to find the stored presets and save them but the H9 Control data folder is empty. I guess the presets are stored in some system file or whatever out of my limited knowledge. So I ended up erasing the app and installing the 4.0.1 provided by the Eventide support and it seems to be working again. Will have to do a lot of tweaking these next few days so will update this post if any further problem occurs

That’s bad!
Unless we find a way to access the app data in android

Anyway, it seems like Eventide is now giving priority to the H90 and it’s not a good move for many reasons towards their clients.
I have 2 H9s, as many do, and am not going to spend any money to switch to an H90 just to have the same units boxed into one. Also, I don’t get the reason to put us in such big trouble with the in-app saved patches.

Même problème avec mon Huawei Android.
Tout fonctionnait avant la mises à jour mais lorsque je mets mon password, message d’erreur…
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Tout fonctionne parfaitement sur mon MacBook et iPad pro.</p>
