It's still not obvious by any means how Harpeggiator is working. I'd recommend turning the ARP MIX all the way left or right to just hear one pattern, setting the pitch sequence of that one pattern to off, and then try just changing the rhythm pattern. If you look at it in isolation, you'll pretty soon understand the correspondance between what you're seeing and what you're hearing. Then start varying the pitch patterns with the rhythm pattern held constant. If you look at the elements in isolation, it's easier to figure out.
