How do I set it so that the parameters that are assign the the RJM SP1 expression pedal go to the heal position upon changing presets? I understand that the expression pedal itself won’t move however I want the the preset to start w/ the minimum values of the expression pedal. I’m using an RJM GTMM16 midi set up. I’m not sure if this is a midi controller issue or an H9 issue.

I know the H9 saves the expression pedal position as part of the preset. I don’t recall if that applies to expression over MIDI or not. You can try bringing it to Heel and re-saving the preset.

In the video, you actually adjusting the current Mix parameter value itself, not the expression pedal mapping range.
Try dragging the little blue dots that define your Start & End position on the blue ring encircling the Mix parameter, then re-save the preset.
Alternatively, you can use the mapping buttons to the left & right of the Ribbon controller at the bottom to reset your range (then Save).

I want to keep the mapped range the same, I just want the preset to alway start at the minimum value of the range.

In that case, carefully use the treadle itself on the pedal to dial in your initial start point, then Save. It’s still storing your current expression pedal position on the Save operation. When you move the pedal again, it will jump to the appropriate position within the mapping range you have set.
Catchup mode, for you synth-heads. I hope that Mission pedal doesn’t have much MIDI jitter. If you happen to make any more preset changes along the way, be sure to repeat the treadle process again, or wherever the treadle is currently will be your new stored start position.
