H9 Gen stuck in boot loop

After trying to update to the latest firmware 2.2.0, the update failed and my Gen 2 now gets stuck repeating the Eventide logo over and over

 

How do i get it working again? Tried plugging in the power with the hotknob held and it doesn’t work.

What was the fix? This just happened to mine this morning.

The first thing you should try is attempting the update using Recovery Mode: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9/1.2.2/en/content/appendix/startup.html#recovery-mode

If that doesn’t work, email support@eventideaudio.com and we can help you further there.

Support fixed it, if you email them they’ll talk you through the steps, it requires another download to reset the firmware and take the unit out of the boot loop.

Mine didn’t work the first few times I tried so I tried a different cable and usb and it worked.
