H9 Gen2 – Inst or Line?

I’m using my H9 Gen2 in the send/return of my Fractal Audio FM9. Should I set the input/output to Inst or line?

The H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 I/O should be set to line level, as the FM9 expects a line level signal on inputs 2 and 3. According to the FM9 manual, you should be using Out 3 (with the Out 3 Level knob set fully clockwise for unity gain) into the H9, then out from the H9 back into Input 2 or 3.
