I recently got an H9 Max and it eliminated 4 stompboxes from my board hence going from a 26×14 Vertex to a 20×11. AMAZING! I love the unit.
I’m running the H9 in Pre/Post mode with the “Post” Presets in Kill Dry going through the Mini Mix II and back into the Mastermind loop 6.
Then I run the “Pre” Presets without Kill Dry straight into the Mastermind loop 3.
For my understanding, can someone please help me understand how using Pre/Post mode uses two conversions and what that may be doing to my signal path with this set-up?
Does Output 1 and/or Output 2 now have two conversions instead of one? Do my “Pre” presets have twice the latency?
It would be helpful to know what’s happening at the routing level.
