H9 Midi thru issues

I’m controlling the H9 with the boss ES – 5 over midi and that works fine, but I cannot get the H9 to pass midi thru to my Chase Bliss tonal recall.

When I use a midi splitter, coming out of the boss Es-5, both the H9 and the Chase Bliss tonal recall receive midi messages just fine. This means that the modo channels are set right, all the cables are working, and the problem seems to be the H9 not passing midi thru to the Tonal Recall. I have set the H9 in pedal settings to Midi through. This doesn’t help.

Any ideas for troubleshooting this?

Make sure you use the latest version, 5.4. This has many MIDI improvements. That said, we have reports of problems with some controllers. More later.

To rule out hardware issues, can you try the different output modes of the H9, and see if you can detect any MIDI out ?
