I just have an H9 for a week now but I think the power supply is fried.

I was mixing music and I heard a weird noise and noticed that the H9 was suddenly off. Also there was a smell suddenly, the typical smell when some electronic part has fried/burned.

Then I checked the power supply and noticed the led light was off. When I took it out and smelled it I knew it came from the power supply. The H9 itself didn’t have the smell.

Is this a common issue with the H9 that the power supply gets busted easily or am I just unlucky?

Can you take a photo of the power supply (the side with its specs label)?

I've never heard any issue like this. The factory power supply is robust. If you're pretty sure your power supply is burned, please email support@eventide.com

This is a photo of the power supply. I’m quite sure it has to be the power supply, because the LED doesn’t go on anymore when I plug it in the outlet. But I didn’t test if the H9 is still working because I don’t have another power supply to test. There’s maybe the option that there’s a defect in the H9 making it draw way too much power (and overloading the power supply) or is that unlikely?

I don't think so. Please email support@eventide.com with your question and this photo
