H9 Presets not retaining settings?

I seem to have recently bumped into an issue where I will save a preset after tweaking it, but when I recall it it goes back to the old settings.

I’ve done this both through the ipad app and the device itself. Also double checked/unplugged all expression/hotswitch setting and that isn’t it.

It seems to retain the information if you click away to another preset and back temporarily, but eventually returns back.

Currently reloading the most recent firmware (5.4.1[7]) but other than that I feel like I might have some faulty memory in the H9 itself or a glitch in the 

software I’m missing.

Anyone else experience this?

retracted – somehow Global mix got turned on, though it was confusingly dictacting the fuzz level on pitchfuzz.
