      Hi,

I use my H9 with bass and I’d like to reproduce the choppy bass you hear on dubstep records or Nerve music (think John Davis bass tones). I came to the conclusion that you can get that sound using a tremolo and a combination of different tap subdivisions.

Is there a way to configure an expression pedal to go from quarters to triplets to dottet eights etc.?

A suggestion on which algorithm to choose would be great too.

      Thanks.

This sounds like a job for Ultratap. Try assigning to the expression pedal to Spread, and maybe also Taps.

Adding to mistercharlie‘s suggestion:  CHOP is a useful UltraTap parameter, and its SPEED can be mapped to an expression pedal.  Here’s one example, that you can modify to fit your needs:

That said, the same can be done in other algorithms, like TremoloPan or TremoloVerb.  Maybe even the Undulator algo.  Of course, TEMPO should be ON, in any case.
