I’ve been using an aural exciter (Boss Enhancer EH-2 but Aphex makes them too) on clean guitar for a long time.  Exciters are obviously popular production tools too.   Likewise EQs and compressors.

Since the H90 has more horsepower than the H9, I thought it might be possible to add an aural exciter to the H9 EQCompressor algo.  Since the sky is the limit when dreaming, I thought it might be possible to add a pair of feedback-busting EQ-notches and an invert switch.  While we’re at it, a few more compressor controls (attack, release, etc.) would be helpful.

All these utilities in one H90 algorithm, would still leave the other algorithm slot open for reverb/delay/whatever and that’s always helpful when playing live.

This could be used by acoustic instrument players as an acoustic instrument preamp algo.

This could be used in home/small studios as a production multi-utility algo.

This could be used by electric instrument players as a general tone enhancing algo.

I know it’s easy to dream and hard to execute so I appreciate the ability to suggest this whether or not the idea is ever implemented.
