H90 app for android?

Are there any plans to make the control app for Android in addition to iOS?

I hope you will consider all the Android users out there, and the fact that there are 9 Android users for every iOS user.

That may be as far as users go but – once you get into demographics- you will find that ratio nearly reversed for musicians…

It’s not the first time I’ve seen that popular platforms don’t develop apps. I don’t understand what the problem is? I was reading about app development and realized that the difference between android and ios apps is not that big. Creating one for both doesn’t require much effort. So what’s the problem? I found H9 Control on Google Play, is that it?

Just ordered a H90 and now I see here that there is still no Android app out for bluetooth support ? It been two years now that the H90 is out,.any ETA or update on this? Does android support is still planed ?

I should also mention that you may be able to connect to some Android devices using Bluetooth to send MIDI data using a 3rd party app, but this is not officially supported. Not that you need another person to tell you how important it is for your customers to have android connection but I would really love it. I have one H90 and two H9’s and many plugins. It would be very helpful to get the H90 on android too.

They could make it but they won’t for some reason, I own a Spark amp mini from Positive grid and they got a Android app, so if they can do it so can Eventide 🤷‍♂️

É claro que eles podem, não sabemos o motivo do pq não fazem. Eu sou usuário da Eventide a anos … Comprei meu h9 em 2014 … Se não me falha aa memória eles lançaram o apk para Android foi em 2018 … O grande lance do apk é que vc faz aqueles ajustes finos no ao vivo…a eventide é uma empresa grande e renomada… é só olhar com carinho para quem é usuário Android. Não é luxo e sim uma necessidade, tudo pelo apk é melhor, isso facilita demais!

With the h9 there was a heck of a lag from the iOS support to android support.

 

i ended up needing an iPad for my mixer anyways as they don’t support android and I much prefer the iPad now…

While there isn’t an official H90 app for Android yet, keep an eye out for future developments. In the meantime, explore third-party options or consider reaching out to the manufacturer to express interest in an Android app for the H90.

Sorry for my previous rant. I got pretty upset when I read that there is no Android app planned. I wish I could delete my post, but it seems not to be possible, which also suprised me a bit, since in all other forums I use it’s always possible to  delete a post, at least during a certain period of time, so it would be great to have that feature (I think I saw an edit button, but when I clicked it nothing happened, and then it disappeared)

I tried the suggestion about the midi app, but couldn’t find any that worked, so here is my question:

Is there a public API I could use to create my own app, or a sysex commands documentation for this purpose? I have been looking for a fun project to get started with android development, and this sounds like an exciting option. Thanks!

I am a huge fan of Eventide owning three H90’s in the past and now I own two H90’s and the Rose.

This pedal sucks.  It’s taken 2 steps forward and 1 back.  Somehow they made the decision to not make the UI any better.  Straight out of the 80s.  I just deleted my registration, listed the h90 on reverb and ordered the fractal vp4.  I’m still mind blown that there is no way to control the global volume.

This thing should’ve been a tiny tmp looking pedal with a simple touchscreen UI. The UI is so bad that the iPhone/android app is a must.  Tired of waiting.  go buy a fractal VP4 cheaper and get 4 (or more) effects at once and a better UI
