Hello,
I recently got an H90, downloaded the current Mac computer software, got the H90 connected, its firmware updated via USB. All good with all of that. Basically, the bluetooth connection just keeps turning off at the H90. Sometimes it will keep working for 15-20 min or sometimes it will just turn itself off after 30 seconds of being connected. I have tried forgetting the connection at the H90, deleting it off my Mac’s bluetooth list, and getting a new passkey. None of this helps.
Is this a known issue or anything else I can try? It is very frustrating to perpetually get kicked off while editing. My Mac is on Monterey if that matters? But the issue seems to be at the H90 where it just literally keeps turning the bluetooth off.
FWIW, I also have an H9 and have never had any bluetooth issue with it’s app and the same MAC PC

Hello,
Sorry for the issues you are having. Can you be more specific about when the disconnection happens? Are you able to connect for a period of time using Bluetooth and then Bluetooth on the H90 will turn off? Or does the Bluetooth on the H90 turn off very quickly after trying to connect?
Do you have any other Bluetooth devices nearby that are on? Wireless Bluetooth adapters such as the WIDI products can cause this sort of issue.

Most times, the bluetooth light on the H90 just immediately turns off as soon as I hit the connect tab on the software’s prompt. I then will need to just repeatedly try it, forgetting the device on the H90, getting a new passkey, etc. Then it may stay connected for a few minutes but then will inevitably just shut the bluetooth off at the H90. There are no other bluetooth devices being detected by the MacBook and I have deleted all other saved ones out of its list. Also, as I mentioned in the first post, the MacBook has no Bluetooth issues with my H9 or my other bluetooth devices. So I do not feel like it is the actual computer.

Sorry, it may be that your computer OS is the issue here. Macs running macOS 12 (Monterey) have known issues pairing with Bluetooth MIDI devices, this is stated in the system requirements: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.8.6/content/system-menu/bluetooth.html#bluetooth-system-requirements
If you have an iPad or a different computer that is not running Monterey you could test the Bluetooth connection with, that would be helpful. Otherwise, my best suggestion would be to update your OS to Ventura or higher and that may resolve the issue.

I wanted to report back that this was indeed a mac Monterey issue. I had another mac with Sonoma and no issues now. Thanks for the help!
