Yesterday I installed the new 1.7.9 version of H90 Control on my PC, and then successfully updated the H90 firmware to 1.8.5 for the new algos and latest bug fixes. However, after the update, when I run H90 Control and hit the “Connect” button, I get this error:
Connection Error – Program library metadata size mismatch: expected 697 received 696
A separate but perhaps related problem I’ve had for about a month now is the (previously mentioned by another user on this forum) fact that one of my presets is ‘corrupt’ and displays a question mark, and won’t let me edit or save anything in that slot.
Any ideas? I could try a full reset, but I can’t backup my Programs/H90 unit without the H90 Control app, and it won’t run…

You’re welcome. It would be helpful if you can follow the instructions below to get your pedal logs, and then send them to support@eventide.com
- Reboot the device in Recovery Mode (hold SELECT+PERFORM+QuickKnob 1 while powering on)
- Connect to your computer with a USB cable and locate the drive called “H90 Pedal”
- Copy the directory called “logs” from this directory and send us the contents
If you have already emailed support, you can follow up with another email that includes the logs. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Were you able to fix the connection error issue ?

Yes, support sent me a beta update and I was finally able to connect to H90 Control, and delete the “borked” saved Program. I am guessing the latest public update (1.8.6???) fixes the issue too.

I appreciate the response. I am having the issue with the latest release, as I did with the previous release. I am thinking something changed on my system, so I am now trying to track that down.

Please contact support@eventide.com and let them know which version of H90 software and H90 Control you are using, along with a description of the issues you are having.
