No issues without the H90. Even when not connected via USB, it is there. Good power supply (going through an isolated power source, as per all my other gear). Tried restarting, etc., with no luck.

A few questions:
Describe your connections and signal flow. How do you have the H90 connected?
What H90 software are you using? Are you sure it’s the latest version?
Have you tried using the factory power supply?
Is it only on a specific Program or all of them?
Have you tried isolating the H90 by itself (ex. guitar >h90>amp) to see if the problem persists? -

I updated to the latest software, etc., today. I have the H90 first in the signal chain, but also tried it after a noise gate. The other things in the chain… noise gate… drive pedal… amp. Nothing else. No noise without the H90. Using the factory supply, but it’s plugged into a unit (like a power bar, but made for music gear, or at least sold as such for electronic stuff). Even louder if going direct to amp, no matter the preset selected. Also, if you play something, you don’t hear it… but as the notes become quiet (or you stop playing), then it kicks in. Different guitars same thing. Also, just discovered that no matter where I plug in the USB, that is causing the noise. In other words, unable to use the editor.

Have you made any changes to the default operating levels of the H90? Are they set to instrument level? Do you have anything else hooked up to the H90 in any of the loops?
Is your amp running clean or are you using the preamp’s distortion?
Are you able to film a video showing the noise you’re talking about? I’d be interested to see what noise occurs when you only have the guitar connected to the H90 going straight into the amp.

I’m using a high-gain amp, but it is very quiet on its own and with other pedals. Going direct to the amp makes no difference. It’s like the ringing in your ears, but thicker and more piercing sounding. I never made any changes, but updated everything today (used old software, etc., before that).

If I may, can I jump in with just one question/clarification. To the OP, you say you have the USB connected. Is the noise only when the USB is connected? Also, I’m assuming the other end is connected to a computer? If this is the case have you tried making sure the computer is plugged into the same outlet or power strip as everything else.
Please excuse me if I missed this already being made clear.

1. Only when USB is plugged in.
2. Doesn’t matter if USB is in a hub or direct to computer.
3. Computer in same quality power supply… no issues there. I use power supplies that are isolated and quiet.

I’m confused. In your original post you said the noise is there “Even when not connected via USB.” USB noise, unfortunately, is normal and indicative of some sort of grounding loop in your system. There’s no way to get rid of it except for disconnecting the USB cable when you’re using the H90.
