I thiiiink the answer is no but wanna make sure in case I’m missing something. I have a setup that is feeding midi tempo to an H90. I have a looper algo running on the h90. I want to be able to record a loop at some bpm X and then modify the bpm to some value y AND have the loop in the h90 dynamically stretch to bpm y. Currently instead of stretching/fitting the loop, it seems to just find the beat number that conforms to the new bpm y, but this results in cutting off or adding beats. I want to keep the whole original loop just slowed or sped up.
i know I can achieve this somewhat with Play Speed parameter but that doesn’t seem to play nice with midi bpm, unless I’m doing something wrong
is this possible? If not would this ever be added? If not…anyone know a pedal that can do this 😅

Sorry, that’s not possible with the looper.
Information about how the speed parameter works when tempo sync is turned on is outlined here: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.9.7/content/algorithms/looper.html
You may be able to program CC messages that trigger the Loop start trigger instead of using MIDI tempo sync. This way, your clock/sequencer will tell the H90 to start the loop at a given time, and you can find different play speeds that may sync up at different tempos.
We’ll consider this feature for an update.

I believe any Boss looper with MIDI can do this. I have the RC600 which can but i think the functionality of the loopers is the same across the board. That being said, my RC600 doesn’t like it if it’s not the MIDI clock, so i don’t know how well it reacts to being told to change tempo at all!! I just use it as the clock telling everything else what speed and where the one is; but that may not work for your rig.
