h90 output Global volume range

Hi,

It seems to me a bug that there is no global output volume range limit as in the single preset/algo when mapped to a CC…could you please implement a range limit also in the global midi assignement?

Thanks for your feature request. Can you be more specific about your use case that you’d require a mapping range for the global values?

I use the eventide in a rack and I command it via midi. It’s the last in my signal chain.
I would like to have a master volume control mapped to a CC where I could vary  the volume from -10db to 0db using a pedal linked to my midi controller.
This is possible if I map the output of the B algo but there’s no way to limit the range in the global section.

Are you able to set a range of the CC value being sent from your MIDI controller? That may an alternative solution.
