        Hi!

I have a bit complicated routing cenario here for me, whitch I can`t seem to figure out by myself.

My main board is Quad Cortex and I use it with real tube amp. In Quad Cortex I have two “rows” – one for guitar amp (pre-post fx) and another for (stereo) vocal fx.

Ideal cenario for me would be able to use H90 fx in conjunction with Quad Cortex and amp for “pre” amplifier, for “post” amplifier of for (stereo) vocal fx row, depending what cenario I happen to have. Main cenario would be “pre” amplifier and stereo vocal fx at the same time.

Please advise, is it possible and how to route H90 in conjunction with Quad Cortex and tube amp in such a manner that I could use all of these cenarios without having to reconnect some cables meanwhile? Or what would be the best way to handle this routing?

          Hi virkhausen,

It sounds like Dual routing mode would be the way to go. In the H90 System menu, under Global, set Routing to Dual. This creates two paths – Path 1 uses I/O 1&2 while Path 2 uses I/O 3&4. They behave like two independent mono or stereo effects processors. On a program basis you can put both Eventide presets on Path 1, both on Path 2 or one on each.

For a deeper look into Dual routing mode, I recommend this video: https://youtu.be/0G_WtfUatSc?si=B0ig0phVc3M86VmC
