Hi all, new H90 user here.

I have been using a H9 for 10 years to split my signal between two different amps as it has a output 1 dry/ output 2 wet -type of routing possibility.

Now, I´d like to use H90 in dual mode (pre/post) similarily. Let´s say to go guitar -> input 1 –> for example octaver in pre-effects with dry signal to output 1 and wet signal to output 2.

      AND

Use the post section B in one amps effects loop.

Is this possible? If so, where do I set the signal routing split in outputs 1&2 ?

      Thanks already!

      Hello spoons,

Directions for Pre/Post routing using Dual mode is available in the manual: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.7.5/content/setup/pre-post.html

You may also learn about Pre/Post routings in both Insert and Dual modes in this video: https://youtu.be/0G_WtfUatSc?t=538

Thank you for the swift reply. I believe neither of those links have answer to my question . I will check again.

Anything that requires splitting a signal is not possible in Dual mode. I misunderstood your intention with Dual mode thinking you wanted to use one Path (IN 1/Out 1) for one amp and Path 2 (In 3/Out 3) for a second amp’s effects loop.

If you wish to split signals with the H90, this is only possible using Insert routing mode. Create an Insert and set the Insert Mix to 0%. May I suggest this video on splitting signals for Dry/Wet rigs? Perhaps it will give you an idea: https://youtu.be/0G_WtfUatSc?feature=shared&t=786
