Currently, I run stereo out of H90 to two electric guitar amps.
I’d like to use an acoustic guitar through my Boss ES8 switcher, and hit a patch that outputs the acoustic guitar on 3&4.
Output 1&2 will always be plugged in, output 3&4 will be plugged in to DI boxes.
The goal: I’m playing electric through my board to tube amps, record a loop from my pigtronix looping pedal.
Then I pick up my acoustic guitar, start playing through the same board just on a new H90 preset which outputs only to 3&4 – the PA system.
Is this possible? What’s the best way to accomplish it? Thank you!

And to clarify:
I have input one on H90 going out to 1&2 currently and would plug DI boxes to H90 output 3&4.Then try and control the outputs of H90 per patch. I either want output 1&2 or 3&4 but not 1234.
Since my Boss ES8 has two inputs, both my electric and acoustic guitars are connected to the ES8, from there the output of the ES8 is in input 1 of my H90.
A possible workout around I could do is keep ES8 into input 1 on H90 for electric and plug acoustic into input 3 on H90.
But the main thing is, I want output 1&2 on and 3&4 off, then 3&4 on and 1&2 off.

Hi mattbatt77,
There’s a few ways to do this. If you want to keep both guitars plugged into the ES8, then you can use a stereo insert on the H90 to provide the output signal to 3&4. Place the stereo insert at the end of your H90 signal chain and set the Insert Mix parameter to 100%. On a program basis, you can bypass the insert for when you want to use outputs 1&2 and activate the insert to direct signal solely to outputs 3&4. In Perform mode, you could even assign one of the switches to control which output to send signal to by assigning it to the Insert bypass; you could even use an external aux switch for this.
The other way would require the acoustic guitar to always be connected to In 3 of the H90. By using Dual routing mode, each instrument would have a direct path to its amplification. On a program basis, you can switch around the Eventide presets to affect whichever instrument you prefer.

Thank you so much! I’m excited to use this work around!
