the H9000 is really central to my current setup. there’s a lexicon PCM, orville, and dangerous D/A on the AES dsub, a 16 channel ferrofish A/D + D/A over dante (that connects pedals, synths and modular..), and all the analog (over dsub) channels are used.

after i maxed out the 16 algorithms, i started to spend some time in vsig, combining algorithms so i could free up space on the FX chains and add more. on one of the patches theres 4 instances of a 20 second stereo delay combined to one algorithm, and 4 instances of that algorithm on the FX chain, for a total of 16 stereo delays – for example.

i’ve built some simple switches that let me ‘send’ any input to any of the outboard rack stuff, but at the moment, i’m stuck at 8 ins and 8 outs per algorithm and have to use 2 algorithm switches (each 8in/8out) to get in and out of all the outboard.

seems like a minor / small thing, but it would be really great if an algorithm could have more ins / outs than 8.

is this possible? can it already do this and i missed it?

        thank you.

          Hi there,

Algorithms can have a maximum of 8 inputs/outputs but we can consider adding more for a future update.

Glad to hear you are making good use of the H9000!

thanks for your answer – yes, the H9000 is used daily here!

i thought that was the case about max of 8 for i/o, but wanted to double check..

glad to hear higher i/o count is possible – hopefully we’ll see it happen!

would love 16 (or even 32..!) i/o per algorithm – especially with the upgraded power of the gen2 processors.
