HELP… EXPRESSION PEDAL to CONTROL x 2 pedals via MIDI. (not working?)

Guys 

having midi connection problems here – can you help?

i have got them communicating with TEMPO via midi

(but note it is only working with the PITCHFACTOR as master) but not with the SPACE as the master

But now i can't get the EXPRESION pedal which is plugged into the PITCHFACTOR as a master to control the Space EXPRESSSION?

I have followed eventide tutorial video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZbfZTTykos

done it step by step but its not working 

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?????

Aha! 

i just worked it out 

I HAD USB plugged in OOOPPPSS
