      Hi,

I really need to be able to assign the Repeats button in H9 Control to an aux footswitch, in this case the left Barn3 footswitch, so I can

do repeat hold or freeze functions delay functions. I’ve spent a good amount of time looking this up from various sources and

haven’t found anything about how to do this, so I’m really hoping that someone here might be able to help me out with this.

If you’re working with H9 Control, start off by making sure the expression input of the H9 is set up to work with your OX9 by going into the “Pedal” tab, and “General Settings”. “Expression Jack” should be set to “Aux Switch”

Then, you can make assignments in the “Pedal” tab, then click “Aux Switch Assignments.” Typically, the Repeat function in our delay algorithms is mapped to the “Performance Switch (Middle)” option. When you select it, assign it to Footswitch 2 (sw2) – if I recall correctly, that’s the switch that corresponds to the left switch of the OX9. Make sure no other parameters are mapped to the same switch.

Now, when you press the left footswitch in the OX9, it should engage the Repeat function of your delay algorithms. Let me know if this works.

Yes, you did remember correctly about the footswitches. I didn’t realize it was “performance switch” that was the key here. I have it set up now

functioning properly thanks to your help. Thank you very much for that, being able to do that is really essential for me, playing over the repeat/hold, etc, and I’m

pretty blown away with how fast this answer came back to me. Thanks so much and all the best!
