I have an H9 Max and an H90.  I am using the Q-Wah algorithm.  I am trying to get the very quick toe down – heel down “quack” effect (Jerry Garcia used it sometimes and my Boss AW-3 did t very well but is broken).

I tried using the envelope shape and the quick toe down portion is good but to get the filter to close, I have to play the note “staccato”.

I tried the ASDR, which is what I think should work but I can’t find a way to make the “S” sustain time very short and then “D” decay quickly.

Maybe there is another algorithm or setting that’s better suited to do this?  After all these years I still don’t think I have fully discovered all the capabilities of these pedals!

Edit:  The desired result would be much like saying the word “wow” normally with each note played.

Here’s an older thread with a few suggestions to get your Jerry goin: https://www.eventideaudio.com/forums/topic/best-algorithm-for-tom-misch-john-mayer-auto-wah-filter-sounds/

You can try this Program as well: https://patchstorage.com/sircle-of-wah/

There may be more sounds on Patch Storage, this is just the first I found when searching “Jerry”
