Hum Noise..Touch metal parts

Hey guys,

I bought a MXLINK a month back . I just tried it today and found that there was a hum noise when I touched metal pats of the stompbox. A hiss noise is also generated at high gain  setting.

Also when using the footswitch , i get pop noises. Is there something wrong with the pedal?

Not sure if I can return it to the store since its been one month . I live in Melbourne ,Australia.

Any idea/suggestion?
