      Is it normal to hear ANY guitar signal when in BYPASS mode, but Changing presets? When i finish a passage, hit Bypass, then change the preset, i can hear remnants of my previous signal or chord when the New preset "loads", but i am IN Bypass mode.

      …anyone know if this is normal operation for this pedal?  i am running the pedal in the Factory default mode.

      Depends on which bypass mode you have. I would recommend some seasonal light reading (of the User Manual).
