PACE, the company that maintains the licenses for our plugins, has informed us of an issue with upgrading from Mac OS 10.4.8 to 10.4.9, if you are using MacIntel UB applications. This does not affect Power PC based ones.
After performing this upgrade these type of applications will crash at launch.
Work around:
Download and install the combo update from Apple:

PACE has escalated this issue to Apple, who is already working on a solution. It is likely that the solution will be a rev to Apple Software Update.
