I had B*tched previously about the digital noise with the vintage delay at less than 16 bits, the uselessness of the tape echo and the inability to perform updates on certain computers over USB.
All this seems to be fixed in the latest rev. Vintage delay sounds great at 12 bits and after someone mentioned the enhanced tape echo on TGP, I posted this:
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! You are sooo right. I hated the tape delay previously
and always preferred the vintage delay but the first few firmware revs
added digital noise when the bit rate was set to less than 16. In the
last 2 beta releases they (finally) fixed this and I was delighted but
didn't even think to try tape echo again since I had previously
considered it useless. I just ran down to my studio and tried it and it
sounds fabulous. Thanks!!!
