MemberI have my Musicomlab EFX MKII changing presets for my Modfactor and Timefactor.
EFX > Modfactor > Timefactor is the midi chain.
The Modfactor ALWAYS works, but the Timefactor misses the change once in a while.
Could it be the midi cable?

MemberHmmm, when I switch the order of the pedals I don't get any misses.

Mysterious – do they both have the latest software ? There have been MIDI improvements since the first versions.

MemberI have the latest updates for both MF and TF.
I have not had a single issue since I changed the pedal order.
I ordered a couple new midi cables just to feel safe.

ParticipantI've got the EFX as well and have seen some messages get dropped along the way. The first pedal in the MIDI chain* seems to get them always but if I switch quickly between presets it seems as though a factor pedal will drop messages.
* Midi chain: EFX->PF->TF->MF

MemberI wonder if it would be better to have a Quad Thru splitter?

ParticipantI got a reply from Eventide support that they're going to try and acquire one (from midisolutions) and test it out.

ParticipantI haven't gotten a reply from eventide support yet but I did do a little experiment. I made my own midi cable that splits the midi signal from my efx out to the three factor pedals (no daisy chaining, no midi thru). Works fine and clears up latency issues and dropped midi messages. So, that thru box from midisolutions is most likely just the ticket. Or you can hack up a cable like I did and see if that works for you.

MemberI think I'll try the midi Y cable idea.
Those Midisolutions splitters are passive so I'm not sure if they have an advantage over a split cable.
