I’m using the Mixing Link as a DI for recording:
Guitar in to INST IN (HI gain), TO AMP back out to amp (mic on amp), TO FX to H9 (and then preamp). I’m doing it this way to record stereo effects and a mono dry sound.
My problem is that running my guitar through the Mixing Link sounds “flatter’ than if I plug straight into the amp. The Mixing Link sounds more compressed, more two dimensional than three dimensional.
I used the MIC/LINE IN input and had the same result
Anyone else notice this? Thanks
