      My PF and TF (bought new by me) dont have this problem but the MF has a very dicky encoder knob, turning it often has little or no effect, but if you push the tip towards the rear of the pedal it works better. I bought this second hand so there's no warranty but I'm rather keen to get it fixed.

      Is there an authorised repair centre in the UK? and what about cost?

      Our  UK repair centre is HHB – they should be able to give prices.
