      My Modfactor stucked in bypass mode and in play mode when I press the leftmost switch (active/bypass) the effect never engages, and the LED above the switch doesn’t light. In a bank mode left button does switch between banks and when I power up the unit/ enter the system menu left led light only. I tried update the software, but Eventide direct updater doesn’t retriev the device.

      My modfactor is out of 1-year warranty. This one is my first, I bought new unit which has working just fine. ..also have timefactor and pitchfactor, and no problem.

      Please help me bring Modfactor to life again.

      Can you tell us what the serial number shows as (see the UM to read it – System Mode/UTILITY).

      Did this result from an attempt at updating it ?

      The serial number the display shows is “invalid”.

      I tried to update, but Eventide direct updater doesn’t recognize the device.indecision
