In Ableton Live, Elevate causes the project to start clicking and popping on playback. It occurs every few seconds, regardless of project load.
This occurs in :
- Elevate ver v1.13.9
- Ableton Live 11 & 12
This was on a Macbook Pro M3 16, on both macOS 14 and macOS 15.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Sorry for the issues you are having.
Can you try using a simple Live project with just 1 track of audio and no other plug-ins and letting me know if you still have issues?
It would be helpful if you can email support@eventideaudio.com with a video that demonstrate the issue.

Thank you for the reply, I think I jumped the gun to assuming it was caused by Elevate, after removing the plugin it still occurred. I found it only occurs when my buffer size is 128 or less (it becomes more frequent the lower the size), 256 and higher don’t have this issue. Weird because it doesn’t sound like the distorted CPU overload crackles and my CPU usage is averaging 30% when at 128 or 256 buffer size. Anyhow my interface may be the culprit, thank you again.

I’ve managed to find a way to avoid the issue, it isn’t a workaround, but I guess it could help someone else. After erasing and resetting my Mac multiple times I still had the issue in Ableton Live 12 projects with stock plugins. Eventually, I erased it again and only installed Logic Pro, since then I haven’t experienced clicks and pops at 32 buffer size 96k sample rate in somewhat heavy projects along with Elevate inserted. I do experience it if I insert a plugin that isn’t yet supported in macOS 15, and sometimes if I open up Google Chrome which makes sense to be fair. I won’t say for sure that the problem is linked to Ableton Live but switching DAWs seems to be the solution for me.
