I normally run my Timefactor and Pitchfactor through my Uberschall at line level but decided to try them in my Peavey 6505+ loop which is -10db output. So I thought by just changing the input switch to guitar and output switch to amp on the pedals would be what to do.
But when I do that, there is nothing registering on the level meter on either pedals and the noise is bad and obviously sound is bad. I know setting it line level isn't correct either.
Why do I have to boost the signal when the amps effects loop is louder than a guitar signal direct but lower than line level?
Is there other alternatives to boosting before I hit the pedals?
