play or bank mode with midi foot controller ?

Hi i'm sorry but i'm new to midi world , i'd like to ask you one thing, i just bought the midibuddy foot control to use with my modfactor,  should set my eventide in play or bank mode to use it with a midi controller ? or it's the same ? Thanks a lot.?

If the only thing you are controlling is the MF, omni is fine. If you add other things, you'll need the different channel numbers to keep them separate.

i'm going to use it with the tc electronic nova system, only the modfactor and the nova, any idea ? the mod it's the first in chain

You should probably find a knowledgeable friend or local tech to help ..

In the meantime, if you put the MF first, you must set it to THRU to pass incoming stuff on. Then pick different MIDI channels for the MF and the TC so they will know what controls are for them.
