I’m moving things around on my board, and I now use the Strymon ZUMA power supply.

Will that be sufficient to power the SPACE pedal safely? Set to 9V or 12V?

Sorry – for obvious reasons, we cannot recommend products about we have no close information. Some customers have had problems using non-Eventide power supplies.

You should ask the supplier if they are confident that it will reliably provide 9-12V DC at 500mA without exceeding 15V peak. But, it really is your risk.

I have to suggest that our products will work best with our supplies. The same is no doubt true for Strymon.

In my modest professional experience, inappropriate power supplies are one of the major causes of unreliability.

I use a Zuma to power an H9. Works great.

I understand your position, Nick. I actually have 2 CIOKS units (DC10 & original Powerfactor), but they just don’t have all I need.

Thanks for the input, Charlie – looks like the H9 is the same as SPACE (9V, 500mA), so I’m glad to hear the ZUMA works well for you.
