Preset Encoder behavior

I really like the way the encoder works on the Space.

I wish Eventide would find a way to make it function in a similar way on the Factor pedals.

i.e. have the encoder be in one mode or the other (all the time):

1. cycle through effect types

2. and (with a double-click maybe?) cycle through presets

I know that Footwitch 3, followed by the encoder allows the encoder to cycle through banks, but it's only temporary.

I've said this before, it would be nice if the encoder work like the Space pedal period, I don't see any advantages on switching algorithms on the fly when there is 100 presets.
