I’m having trouble getting tap tempo to work with my Rose through my Morningstar MC6 Pro. Just to clarify, should the 1st command be a CC80 on “press” with a value of 0, and then a 2nd command of CC81 on “press” with a value of 0? For my Keeley delay, I needed to add a 2nd command for “release” with a separate value (press “on”, release “off” for each “tap”). Thank you!
MIDI CC 80 determines whether tap tempo effects the delay time or LFO speed
MIDI CC 81 is tap tempo
You should only need to send CC81 with a value of 64 or higher on press to trigger a tap. If that isn’t working, you can try CC81/value 127 on press, CC81/value 0 on release.
