Space, expression pedal issue

I can no longer program the expression pedal settings with toe down on the expression pedal, but can with the heel up position.

With pedal up the green light indicating it is in programming mode is flashing but in down position it does not flash any longer and cannot program changes into the pedal down

Is this hardware? software? any fix for this?

The expression pedal itself seems to work fine and reproduces settings already programmed into the unit. It is an EV-5

Sounds like your unit doesn't see the pedal as going all the way down. Try fiddling with the adjustor knob on the pedal.

Good hint. Actually I just figured out it is the speed with which I was moving the pedal to toe position. If I do it slowly it flashes on arrival. If I do it fast it does not.
