I’m getting back into VSig after a hiatus. I thought I’d give the spring_dispersion block a try, based on its intriguing description, but it seems to be completely broken. Including it in an algorithm uploaded to FX Chain 1 Slot 1 seems to confuse my H9000 so badly that only a power cycle will restore it to operation. The input LEDs are still active but no sound comes out of the algorithm, and even trying to replace the FX chain with a preset seemingly has no effect. I’m running at 48KHz with ADAT I/O, no USB audio connection. I’m running the current versions (as of 4/13/22) of the H9000 firmware and VSig.

The spring_dispersion module crashes my H9000 as well. Use the dispfilt module instead. It’s quite similar.

Thanks for the confirmation and the pointer to dispfilt. It adds an interesting sort of watery sound to attack transients.
