Stereo and Mixing Link ?

Hello mister Eventide. Thank you so much for your Mixing
Link. It’s perfect to use a H9 with my saxophone.

It works great but I’d like to know if you think about a stereo version ?

If not what could be the solution to create my own stereo system
with a Mixing link ?

I want to send a mono signal to the H9 and to come out with
a stereo signal in order to use the great H9’s stereo effets.

I think to add another mono DI box (radial proDI) to the
Mixing Link’s DI out.

 

 Microphone (mono) => MXLK (mono) => H9 (stereo)
=> volume pedal (stereo)

=> OUT 1 => MXLK DI out => PA (IN 1)

=> OUT 2 => DI box => PA (IN 2)

 

Do you think it could work ? Do you see another
solution ? Has somebody already try this ?

Hi S.G. 

This is a good idea! Users have been asking for a MXLNK II that would account for a stereo return and a stereo DI. There are a few other features we would also like to incorporate in a ml II.

The setup you propose with the additional DI should work fine.

It's a very good news this MXLNK II's project.

I'd like to suggest an idea : could you put a knob to adjust separately instrument and microphone's Input Gain ? Or something to change the balance between that two Input…

But maybe you have already thought about it 😉

I’m very interesting in Mixing Link 2 as well.

It would be great to have stereo fx return and stereo outs as well as a “mute” button(s) to mute the mic/instrument input.

7 years after my first message, I’ve found the solution, a stereo preamp with 2 Inputs, stereo fx loop and output.
