      Hi Everybody,

      hope you’re doing well,

      So I have the following set up:

      Guitar -> TS9 -> RAT -> Mark V25 Amplifier -> Effects Loop -> H9 Max -> H9 Core

      Since the Mark V25 has the Cab clone built in. I could plug a cannon cable directly to my audio interface and record everything.

      I was wondering, how could I record the other output(the one not going back to the amp effects loop), so I can make stereo recordings.

      Will it work if I plug the H9 second output to an instrument channel in my audio interface?

      Thanks!

      Max.

      Assuming you are running everything in mono, there isn't really a "second output." If only one cable is in the H9 output jacks it will mix the stereo effect output to mono.

      You could do as you say, and connect a cable to the second output,  but this means you will only get half the stereo in your effects loops and the other half to your console.

      But that may work for you. Otherwise, you probably should use suitable Y-leads or DI-boxes instead.

        Hi Nick, and thank you for your quick response.

        Yes, that’s what I’m thiking of doing.

        So you think it will sound good if I have, let’s say the left H9 output to the amplifier effects return, and the right H9 output to an instrument channel in my sound card, and apply some cabinet simulator like guitar rig?

        Thanks!

      My guess is that it might be interesting, but your opinion is more important than mine here. Try it and see what you think.
