System Mode on Mod Factor

Is anyone else having issues getting into the system mode. It says to press the encoder and right footswitch at the same time,, i keep getting bypass type info.. what am I doing wrong?  I have got it to go to system mode one time..

This is normal behavior – it remembers where you last were in the the system menu.

Press the center switch to go towards the top level, turn the encoder to select other options.

So, if you see "BYP TYP", hit the center switch once to get to "BYPASS", and then turn the encoder to get "AUX SW", "MIDI" etc.
